Our Story

UGU Private EMS was founded in 2021 by Mr. NP Jula, an Advanced Life Support Paramedic, and Mrs. NP Jula, a Professional Nurse and NGO Director. Their shared passion for community health and emergency care inspired the creation of a service dedicated to saving lives and improving patient outcomes on the Lower South Coast.

Our ALS paramedics have 20+ years of experience in South Africa and abroad, with ongoing training in:

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

  • Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

  • International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)

  • Scenario‑based emergency drills
